Motherhood University
Teleseminars

 What is a Teleseminar?

A chance for Mom to get in her PJs, grab a pad of paper, a pen and a phone and in the comfort of her own home, she can take a class! A teleseminar is an educational communication tool used to offer instructional information on a phone line. Participants are sent session information which includes; date, time of call, phone number to dial and an access code that will allow them to join the call.

Participants join a bridgeline which allows many people to be on the call all at one time. There is a moderator on the call who may be the instructor or who will interview the instructor?

What if my child is in the room and makes noise? Will others on the call hear? Nope! Motherhood University’s Teleseminars are designed for the comfort and convenience of our participants. After you call in and are on the call, the moderator will mute the lines so all that is heard is the instructor and the moderator.

How much does it cost to take these live teleseminar classes? Motherhood University does not charge for our teleseminars. They are free to our Moms!  The only expense you will have is your regular phone call service fees from your phone company.

Can I use my cell phone? We do not recommend a cell phone. It is best to call from a land line for the best quality sound. Feel free to use your cordless phone in your home.

How long is the teleseminar? Typically our classes will be one hour in length. However, following the seminar, there may be a question and answer period. You may email your question before the teleseminar to:question@motheringmoms.com. Please put teleseminar question in the subject line. The instructor will try to answer as many questions as possible. If you do not wish to continue with the call to here the Q&A segment, you can just end your participation by hanging up your phone.
